i have a numark matrix 3 with full eq kill switches that i love. i've had an sl2 for a while and recently got a denon mc2000. i haven't seen many controllers that have buttons for eq kills, even the most expensive ones don't seem to have this function.

could you make an effect that performs this function? have the effects buttons on the controller kill the bass, treble or mid. this would be a great inclusion for everyone with reasonably priced compact controllers.

Well the new Numark ones have the touch Eq kills so I feel like if serato did this they would be undermining their hardware partners exclusive features.

There is an effect called "Bass Ducker" in the "Jet Pack" expansion pack

I like it better than using the bass eq knob because I can turn it off with a button and also - it only ducks the bass on the beat, so e.g. Rap verses don't lose much depth on the voice
