This is a no brainer. When I first started video Djing, I just went to amazon.com and purchased every music video DVD they had (any danceable artists at least). Then I went to best buy and did the same. All these videos are tagless.

I thought anyone doing videos professionally would have already done this.

We have, but maybe it would be a nice forum list for people just starting or can't find a specific track.

I know I would love to know where to buy a copy of "Family Affair" by Mary J Blige, just haven't found it.

Well, I think you're missing the point. I'm not looking for Promo Only or the like on this thread. I'm looking for the straight video, no chyrons, no subscription, etc.

Thanks though, I know it's there, I just can't bring myself to promote that company.

sorry, i didn't mean to double post but the video is not hard to find. you can always do what those illegal sites do and get the promo only dvd and edit out the promo only logos. i wouldn't recommend doing that though. it always seemed way shady to me.

i just checked my version of the video and it is a promo only version so i can't help ya with a recommendation.

i'll take it a step further. i'll say that if you are serious about video djing that it's impossible to do without promo only videos, so i'm not sure if your hatred for them is going to work out for you in the long run.

i mean, you might be able to get by for a while, there's a few decent services out there but seriously, you can't really be a video dj without promo only unless your music selection is highly specialized and not mainstream.

i know there are a lot of people who will disagree but i'm standing by this.

i did the same thing when i got into video. they sell the tribe called quest video set. about 11 videos. dvd quality. im also bought some biggie and jay-z vids.

I agree 100% with this, as well as smashvidz. Chyrons or not il still play the vidz that are hot.

I'm not saying i won't use vids with chyrons, i just preffer not to. And after some of the shenanigans with P.O. I really don't feel like paying more for their advertisements. That's just me.

Best bet is like others posted. Amazon.com for videography's of artists. Maybe they have a now that's what I call music DVD

The quality on that one is okay.

Damn, I just peeped the Regulator video. It's rediculously edited. They made it super clean by dropping all vocal parts referencing "Gats Exploding" and stuff. I normally like clean edits, but this one is overdone.
