Using Video SL with SL-3

Hello All,
So I have read discussions and FAQs about how it is possible to use SL - 3 with Video SL, but my question is how?
What would I need to set it up, WITHOUT buying the TTM -57.
I also need to find a way to control the video transitions, crossfading, and effects.
I just bought the SL 3, and I wanted to utilize my current four-channel mixer. (not only will it save me money, but because I currently have a rack setup , rather than a battle style setup when I DJ)
I agree that the TTM is a great mixer, but it just doesn't work with my current setup (since I do mostly weddings and other private parties - where I use dual CD players rather than tables), unless I decide to change up my whole system / setup.
Please advise. Thank you.

You can do that and hook up 2 computers so you don't have to do a lappy switch during sets.

I want the control of the 57 and the sound out of the SL3 on one computer, to do that we would need a 57 midi mode.

I purchased Video SL & i have SL 3 working.
For some reason, I am unable to see the music video playing on scratch live.
When i hit "Video" - it says that the ttm is not detected.
Is there something else i need to do?
I have not connected it to secondary output like a TV or projector.
In fact, the output box, which is shown in the demo version, does not even appear.
Please advise. Thank you.

Hi Paragative,
You will need to install Video SL 1.1 (currently in beta) in order to use it with the SL 3.
Information the beta version of Video SL can be found here: serato.com
Cheers, hope that helps.

And more importantly (if you are seeing the 'requires TTM' message) you will need to use ScratchLive 1.9 RC3 (www.serato.com). SL 3 support is much the same as SL 1 support and will require 1.9 and 1.1...

If i have Video -SL and scratch live running without the hardware (SL - 3) attached / connected, should the video still play in the "output" box that shows when in demo mode?
I am playing in M4V format. I get audio, but no video in "offline" mode.
I de-authorized it just in case there were any issues, and it rejects my serial.

The offline player should still work. Can you see the preview window to the right of the SSL offline player?
Where did you get your video files from?

I switched computer, and lost my Video Serato box. How can i transfer over the serial number / purchase confirmation?
