Music Videos- LEGAL question

DJCorbett 6:36 AM - 15 April, 2009
Hey Guys and Girls!

I am located in Canada.

1) When I go and purchase a Promo Only DVD with music videos, am I legally allowed to go and rip those tracks to my MAC and then replay them infront of crowds from my computer?

2) If I download Music Videos off a site, that I pay for monthly, to get like extended intros and all, am I legally allowed to play those infront of the public since I have paid for them? What is wrong with doing that? I consider it the same as downloading a new track off djcity.com for their record pool.

Thanks guys hope to hear from you soon!

I have a legal question too, or moral question. Is it common to play videos with naked girls running around, or videos that depict violence. I recently downloaded a few questionable ones and i was wondering what you guys do? I like the one videos audio but the video shows someone killing someone in a movie....

Well DJchelu Manson, in jersey ABC _alcohol bureau control, it is illegal to show any nudity in any place serving alcohol...this is true and subject to fines same as a stripper popping out a nipple. is it enforced, not really but i wouldn't show alot of nude videos also depends on venue if you got all adults in a nightclub then u are good with nudity or violence, but a wedding or sweet 16...u might get punched in the face.
