rapidshare is not a criminal organization!

Any "business" that primarily exists to enable copyright infringement is by definition a criminal organization. And they know it better than anyone.

I'm not taking moral high ground here, by the way...I'm just saying I wouldn't give them any money. Certainly wouldn't give them any access to any banking/personal information. That stuff will likely be subpoenaed at some point. And who knows what Rapidshare would do with that information if on the brink of legally-forced extinction.

Just a thought but why not get a proper web hosting package... There cheep as chips nowadays!

hahahahha +1 on this one, hey iKutZ with a web hosting sever you are going to have "Bandwidth" problems after time. For example last week end I put up my "Gotta Have More Cowbell (djeloy video mix)" on rapidshare for you guys to have. If I would have put it up on my web hosting server I would have had a Bandwidth, over 250+ people download it that's about........ Just over 39GB of people downloading this file.

i have a pretty kickass web hosting package. over 500GB of space included in my account and a crapload of bandwith per month. but my terms of service specifically bar me from using my account for trading files. i can have 500gb of web content but not 500gb or zipped files in a folder for trading.

i'd have to guess most web hosts have similar contracts. they don't want their servers being used for file trading.

if you find a web host that allows your site to be used for file trading, let me know. i'd like to look into it.
