Just wanted to pass on to those who upgraded to Yosemite and were having issues getting their macs to connect to their Rane Mixers, the public beta build of Serato DJ has updated drivers that will fix the issue.

I updated the drivers using the Serato DJ 1.7.2.4139.dmg build , and played 6 hours without a problem. I am also using the Serato Video plug in with a macbook pro.

I can't say if it works with other Rane mixers, but with the Sixty-One it does.

we're up to Serato DJ 1.7.2.4346 but the old ones are still there.
