New iTunes 12 Music Vidz location ending up splitting!

Ok so where are Music Videos supposed to be located? When i did the upgrade to Yosemite and iTunes 12, 3600+ videos ended up in "Movies" under the Movies section and another 3900+ ended up in "Home Videos" under the same movies section............

Searching Command + F locates everything the same in Serato Dj and Scratch Live, but what is the best practice for iTunes?

You'll have to change the type of the video to either movie, home video or whatever you want.
I've noticed itunes now labels the videos as home movies for some reason.
I change em all back to movie as they've been like that for years and I have smart crates in itunes looking for "movies"

They are supposed to under Music. You need to retag the videos to Music Video. I get my videos from VJ Pro and they don't tag that they are music videos so iTunes sorts them as home videos. Just changing the tag in iTunes to music video will not retag the actual file, it just changes it in iTunes, if you ever have to rebuild your iTunes library again then it will default back to home video or movie.
