I read this somewhere before but.. couldn't find it again.

I know they fixed this in the new versions coming but...
I installed the latest betas of SL & VSL. I was playing with QTZ files and just dragged one up to a video that was playing.. so it associated the QTZ file with the video... now.. how do I unlink the two?

I thought it was control + mouse click.. or shift+control+shift+space bar+page up key+F10+Delete... but I may be wrong.

anyone...?
anyone...?

I just read the manual and it's not there. I remember them saying how to do it, but I can't find it either.

it is indeed. And it is in the 1.1 manual on page 9 (www.serato.com) but being a 1.1 feature is isn't in previous manuals ;-)

NB: If you just drag the composition onto the video preview window it will play but not be associated. An easier way when seeing how things work?

it is a scrolling a-swift banner i made with some motion graphics and stuff. it also listens through the macs built in mic and displays really slick color flares and graphics according to the frequency and amplitude of the sound at the mic.

basically, an ever changing sound driven graphics display. it's rather slick.

i assume it's because it's listening to the mic that it doesn't work. it works fine in quicktime though so when i do mobiles i hang a 24inch LCD on the front of my little booth and i run the Composer file on my little mac connected directly to the LCD. Sound sync'd graphics all night long. Would be really cool if I could use it in VSL though.
