Possibility of VSL live on the web?

I tried searching the forum and found a post but it was in French.

My question is there a way to broadcast the video output from VSL over the web? With sites like bambuser.com that take the feed from your webcam is there a way to input the video into a laptop to be broadcast? Or another way. Any help shall be appreciated

its easy. we do it on stickam.com all the time. i use a canopus advc-100 to capture the video out of my mac and use the canopus like a webcam.

the cool kids know how to do it all in software though, so you don't need a box. i don't know how to do that.

I think it's been replaced by a new model but any FireWire DV converter box will do the trick. There are dozens of them available. I also have an ADS Pyro which is the same thing with a few more features for cheaper money. Just head over to Amazon and find one
