Recording from a Uni-body MBP?

i've search a for this and found tons of advice but maybe you guys can help me narrow my options down. i want to record a video set from my unibody MCP. what's the best way? so far i have:

1. Apple Micro-DVI to DVI Adapter
2. HAVA Titanium HD WIFI

also i can record to a mac or pc. thanks guys. and ment to say MBP instead or MCP whatever the hell that is

what program are you using? are you trying to record from a secondary screen?

i only have a program that came with the HAVA recorder (which records anything like hdtv, xbox, ps3, that uses component cables). i'm thinking of just getting a dvi adapter to component and see if that would work.

are you trying to connect to s-video or hdmi?

i'm not sure...never tried s-video or hdmi before.
