Weird Video Question

Say when I am on the "grid" effect (or any effect for that matter) it seems my crossfader on my 57 won't go far enough extreme left to completely fade over. There is always a little bit that doesn't seem to go all the way unless I press it. The right side is fine. Seems as though my crossfader won't quite go 100% to the left. I always have to do instant doubles t.o correct this. I don't think I should have to. Anyone else experiencing this?

I actully have the same problem to, As if my fader bleeds. You can only notice it when you use the grid go from right to left. What i do once I move the grid all the way to the left, I go back to the default effect and the video goes back to normal.

for me...i took the rubber rings of the fader because it would make the fader bounce back towards the middle just a little bit so it basically bleeds.

happens to me too. I do the same thing djrayray does. Its a pain, but gota do it.

I really don't want to open up my 57, but looks like that's what I'm going have to do. Their was another thread about this on a possible fix. Check the spring on the fader and check some little black piece to make sure it's at a 90 degree angle or something. Need to find that post again. But it's pretty damn annoying when you’re recording your video sets.
