Karl-R, could you possible secure some time at Level before you were to spin on a Saturday night or something so that we could have a venue and some tables? I live an hour and a half away, so I don't really have a venue I could offer.

I may be getting a residency at Elixur in Rockford over the summer, but I don't know how cool the owner is yet and it'd still be like 2 hours from Chicago proper assuming I could secure it for us to mix at.

i can hook something up but we need to figure out time, and date and aprox how many people

the other good thing is 2 other residents there are also ssl users

Nah, Rockford is the second largest city in Illinois next to Chicago about two hours or so west of Chi-town. Not too splendid of a place, but I'll be working to build an ethanol plant there this summer and they have one decent club that I almost have locked up for a summer residency.

I'm in chicago to. We do every saturday at Narcisse. we have 2 dj set up's so I could work something out for a SSL party at the very least in the downstairs room.

i think we should vote on a location i can say that if we do another venue other then level i would be limited on time to spend out and i am sure it runs the same for fenmore. the we also have 2 dj setups cause we have 2 floors with 2 different sound systems both equipted with ssl. the reason I say vote then it is fair for the dj's that have gig's that day at local venues and they feel like their venue was not good enough because of a person here or there if a vote is held and they dont like it oh well.

so far looks like we have level and narcisse

i figure once we all decide on the places to vote we can list the type of venue capacities, vibe, etc to help everyone make a good choice.

I'm down for either...Level is a later venue so that could be better (more time!).

We have a lot of semi big names coming into Narcisse over the next few months (Paul Johnson, Nigel Richards, Kevin Saunderson, Micro, etc) so it would be kind of cool to have the SSL guys downstairs with a headliner upstairs.

Like I said, I am down for either though!!!
