Did anyone of you take use of the tempo and beat match display between the virtual deck´s? I can´t find the advantage of them but in the manual.

yes ! it's very simple the matching of the waves: in the manual there's the description of this !

I'd remove it, thus saving CPU cycles.
The big waveforms do provide a better glance on tempo drifts.

Do not agree, The big waveforms are not tempo scaled, and that's a minus in my opinion.
If you zoom out, and beatmatch a 120BPM song with an 130BPM song you'll notice that one waveform will move much faster over the screen then the other, where the beat will match right in the middle.
That's less handy, because if I want to know when silence is comming up in a song, i need to guess when it's comming.
and thet's the advantage os the small window: it is tempo scaled.
But I agree they can remove the small one if the big waveforms were tempo scaled.

Or add a simpler, yet clearer, drift indicator à la ns7... this one is very diffcult to read in a normal club situation. I dont understand clearly what u mean with tempo scaled, however I am able to beatmatch using the big waveforms and no headphones, so AFAIK it would be still redundant.

but we will have to wait and see how acurate that really is

For me it would be more interisting to see a beat/bar/phrase counter in this section.
Like the one of traktor.

I just picked up the NS7. The serato itch website says beat sync is a feature of itch, Is this auto beat sync like virtual DJ/traktor? If so how do you use this feature to get the beats to line up automatically? Or must you manually beat sync with Itch?

Ah but not on every track man, lining them up at the start is not always the way to go. If i listen to it and then not looking at the screen I sometimes end up with things that look totally out of sync but in fact are perfectly playing.
And the tempo scaled thing is that if you have a track on +4% it whizzes by and you have to get the beats on the bar only... If it's tempo scaled you can look at the entire waveform and put them next to each other instead of just the white itty bitty bar.

Yes, I have checked again and now I undestand what you meant. Let's hope the drift meter on the NS7 is reliable.

I have a NS7. From what I gather the beat sync button does not match the beat tempo after you press play. It only matches the pitch value that is being played on the other platter. You have to manuely match the beats either using your hand and releasing the paltter at the right note. The other option is using the saved cue points as hot buttons. Have the incoming song playing in your headphones only and then hit your saved que points button 1 over and over until the live song gets to the point you want to mix in and then stop hitting the cue button it will then be on beat. I like releasing the platter but i am finding the hot cue points are easier to match the beats. Serato please make the tempo bars bigger like SSL. If you had an option to set it to the right or left of the display that would be awesome. You can fit it inbetween the wave files. Thanks!

Since the sw 1.1 we got a tempo scaled waveform. After several times of testing my result is that it doesn´t work very accurately. For me it would be the best if the user will get an option in coming sw-versions do decide between the old non adjusting waveforms and the new ones.

what doesnt work.... and if i 'doesnt work; why would you choose one over the other?

What i mean is, that the beat and tempo matching display do not work correctly any more (since sw 1.1, when tempo scaled waveforms are included). Even if the beats are matched correctly on the display, it sounds like they were not.
But maybe I am wrong.

i havent noticed a real 'change' what i mean is sometime it didnt work even without the scalling waveforms.... if you still have older builds try it with the same song that doesnt work in the new beta and i bet it also doesnt work in the old ones
