Quicktime 7.6 OK w/ VSL?

My MBP keeps trying to get me to upgrade to the latest QT. I'm scared to do it...

Anybody having problems with the latest version?

There are no issues with it. In another thread Serato said that you can upgrade to the latest iTunes, and that needs 7.6, so using that logic, it should be good.

As you are not an actual user of the program then you should not be answering. You have already been proven wrong in a number of other threads.

An actual user of WHAT program> Serado using a SL-1 box. I have one. I also have every right to answer any question I want to. AND I have not been proven wrong.

Can you post that link please?

The lastest iTunes version can cause issues with missing playlists, esp. with SSL 1.9, so I doubt that Serato recommends to update to the latest iTunes version 8.1, therefore I expect that there should be no recommendation for QT 7.6 either.

An actual user of VSL as this question was posted in the VSL forums. You have been proven wrong. You have chosen not to accept it.

I'm using 1.8.3 and VSL 1.0.2

That link doesn't explicitly mention the QT update. I would prefer to ask than to guess or assume....
