the mac book pro got a dvi output for the video signal so u come out of this one to ur source of the recording but u only get the video if u do so. no sound thru this output.
to add the sound to your video you have 2 options:
1: if you mac is plugged to the TTM 57 MIXER thru usb then at the back of the mixer you should c AUX OUT.so you come out that one and you have a knob on the right hanside of the mixer to adjust the volume.(its used as REC OUT.
2: if you are doing it direct from your mac book the on the left there is a female jack for the headphones. you need to comeout of this one to your recording source.
so i believe in the 2 options u will need 2 different cables.
if u using option one u will need phono cable RCA TO RCA
if u using option one u will need RCA TO JACK.

depends on your video source. if you have a dvi like the mac then go for this one otherwise do like i do just use the converter which come with you mac to convert to vga then just use the vga cable.i used it on a plasma screen and the picture is sharp.the only think is i dont think u would be able to split the signal to use multiple screens.for this option go for the s vide its less better quality but can split the signal to use multiple screen.unfortunately ma knowledge stops here lol.if you find a way how to split the signal with vga connection to use multiple screens pls share the infos as i like to learn more.
so its ur choice for the cable of what your receiver have as output or how do u wanna work?
good luck
