The current 57 design has inputs for 2 1200, 2 cdjs and serato. they the only catch is that they can only be played 2 channels at a time. However because of this i think the current rev of the 57 can def be aimed at big clubs!

yes i know but it would be nice if they had it to have 4 input faders so that u can mix 4 at the same time
mate :) ya right off ssl plus seeing how they will have support for more than 2 turntables this would be the mixer to do the job :)
a ttm 57 with 4 turntable hook up and 1 midi hook up
the midi hook up would be nice right in the mixer cuse u can do 2 things with it remix with the midi like a nice ROLAND FANTOM-XA KEYBOARD WORKSTATION great for remixing tunes there mate
and put sort cuts on to it (but i would remix with it more very good for house
so the mixer lay out would be
3 lines 1 midi 4 tables
one of the inputs u can switch from midi to turntable
all others would swich to line
4 band or 3 band eq
all with kills
eq lay out would be
hi's
mids
low mids
lows
some how if they can have it to where the midi can sink with what ever u want to mix it to would be nice
and a 3 band eq for the headphones to it would be my dream mixer
the worlds frist club mixer with the same faders as the ttm 56
plus everthing the ttm 57 has and more
i know it would cost alot
but i would be willing to pay $2,500 to $3,000
for this mixer in usa money :) i hope they make this mixer knowing rane they will
cheers then

Why dont you use an external midi device like a small "motu fast lane usb" or something like that?

I think a much better solution would be to be able to install two or more scratch live systems in one system, so everyone who wants to use more channels, more turntables or two turntables and two cd players at the same time, would just buy another ssl unit and use any kind of mixer he prefers! (Me personally I would prefer something like the rane empath, but other people might want their vestax, pioneer, dynacord club mixer, or whatever...) There is another thread about this. Have a look at scratchlive.net
