How to rename Scratch live plug in???

How to rename Scratch live plug in???

I know it gives instructions on how to do this but I cant even find it in my application support so i i open it in finder when i open video when i open scratch live with my 57 pluggin in. And when i change the name it tells me "I dont have sufficient accent privileges to rename Scratch live plug in. Anybody know or have this problem. And i am the admin of only user of the computer.

Are you needing to rename it to install a beta version or something?

I got the same thing last night. I'm logged in as Admin on my mac. Every time I try to rename the Scratch Live Plug in, I got the same error message. "I don't have sufficient accent privileges to rename scratch live plun in" I just gave up after 20min.

And yes, trying to install theh beta version. Both sl 1.9 and Video 1.1

drop your current version to your desktop and then install the newer version. I'm not sure why, but Leopard doesn't allow you to rename VSL like Tiger does.

you all need to change the permissions on the folders that the plug-in is nested in

Application Support/Scratchlive/Plugins

one or all of those is read only.

Do a get info on the folders themselves and use your admin password to change the read/write status of the folder.
