Anyone know if there will be an official 57SL case? Yeah, I know, why would they if the Empath case it fits right? But im just curious because I need a new mixer case anyway and since im getting the 57SL, might as well get the case specifically to accomadate it.
post your input please, thanks

TM57=empath
case manufacturer will just relabel their case to accomodate both
Empath
Unit Size: 14"H x 10"W x 4"D (35.6 cm x 25.4 cm x 10.2 cm)
TTM57
Unit size: 13.5"H x 10"W x 4"D (34.3 cm x 25.4 cm x 10.2 cm)
just half an inch shorter

I have a Road Ready Hard case (that I have to re arrange the padding inside) that fits the 57 nice and snug; and on the rare occasions that I get to take a plane or long car trip, its great. But has anyone tried any bags from this company?

They seem to look good. I just want to make sure its not just a glorified school bag.

The Case that Rane distributes is real dope. I used it for my 56 and fits my 57 just as good. It also has enuff room for a serato box and mixer power supply. With the 57 its fits the power cord, E3's and my needle box nicely. It's made by Calzone. Real sturdy. Real official.

I just got one from Road Ready, which is labelled as a case for the TTM56 ("RRTTM56") but fits the 57 perfectly (no padding needed to be rearranged).
Oddly this case is neither in their print catalog or website. It's nice and rugged, and has padding to protect the knobs. Has plenty of room under the mixer for an SL1 and a bunch of cables.
As far as backpacks, the best one I've ever used is from a skate shop here in SF, the bag is "Real" brand, holds about 50 records, is heavy-duty as hell, and was something like $40. I've had it for two years, which is about four times as long as any other backpack I've used to carry vinyl and other heavy stuff.

I'm still using my SKB Case, pretty happy with it, cut some phone and cardboard and now it also fits my 68.

I just bought the SKB Serato Case for $165 on Amazon. Before that I was using the top UDG Sling Bag, from my/the UDG Trolley Case.

I use the Road Ready RRMIX10, works beautifully, used to transport my 56 in it.
