the way things are now, it's more like closed betas with public release candidates. it's too bad when they first started doing open betas, majority of the people would think that it's the new version treat them as such. then they bitch n whine and brings us to where we are now....and we're still bitchin n whining...

my main concern is if they got the pc side running better.




and the way mixemergency looks, i think vsl should follow them. yes, i said FOLLOW. cuz they got a lot of interesting features from what i've seen on youtube....and the layout and all, seems so familiar...my conspiracy theory is that it could either be a serato employee's sidejob or ex-employee's creation. and since it's not an official serato product, they can concentrate more on the mac side only...which is why ME got a bunch of kewl stuff going on. but hey, i'm sure there are a lot of holes in my conspiracy theory which i could care less about defending. and i'm sure that should be a thread in itself.

One word: Creativity. Use it, if you got some. It's not all about technology and being able to have gazillions of effects.

I want Serato to be on my screens NOT ME. I love Serato. Its impt to me. I understand alot more now that I posted this. 1.9 needs to be ready 1st......Theres windows users......all things I never thought of. Its gonna be tight when its ready. I am willing to wait. I just would love a round about date. Whatever it is Ill be there

I think the issue some people are having is that Serato promised the beta would be out in February. They didn't come through, publicly at least. That makes Serato look bad. However, the beta has been released in a closed environment which is not what Serato promised. They specifically said the Public Beta would be available on February off their website.

Well alot of you should be used to this by now.....Remember when Serato announced it would have video? Then it didnt get released almose a year to year and half from when it was supposed to? And Look at all the issues still.
So at least one thing Serato is consistent.

That's just it, new people who don't have serato or vsl cannot get the beta yet, they are letting the people they know who have vsl test it out first and then move it to public beta.

I like it better that way.

Does Mix Emergency work with the regular serato box? Or do you need the rane mixer for it?

I bought it and it works like a charm. Great plugin. Unfortunately the one from Serato does not yet. Ohhh well as long as I can rock the party I don't care. I'm just glad I don't have to use Virtual Dj for vids anymore. Thanks, Peace out!
