Took some times to get used to because I have been using scratch with 1200s for so long, but I'm slowly getting the hang of it. Took it out to my regular gig. Everything was stable and fine. But just as I mentioned before I need more gains for the headphones when doing huge clubs. Other than that, everything was great. So happy I don't have to carry my 1200s around anymore. Everything is so much easier to setup.

Anyone ever try one of those Boostaroo headphone amps for the VCI-300. Back in the da when minidisc was popular, I used to hear about the headphone amps all the time. I saw one in Radio Shack for $40 and wondered how they would sound. Supposedly they retain the original sound quality too. I don't have a VCI-300 to test this on but for $40 bucks to anyone of you existing owners, it might be worth a shot. The device I saw runs on AA batteries but I think there are models available that can be powered externally. Just my 2 cents...

Yeah, bought the battery powered Bostaroo.
Very small, and sound output is strong anx clear, with not too much distortion.
However, after the 1.0.5 upgrade I dont use it anymore, HPs are loud enough now.
And I think my NS7 will be plenty loud on HP out ;)

BTW I'm selling a brand new, never used BOSTAROO hifi amp, black :)
