Encoding videos

I'm new to encoding videos and purchased Elgato Turbo.264. It seems like i can only encode the entire Promo Only CD as a single track. Is there a was to encode the Promo Only individualy by track?

well, I know once its ripped...
media coder can let you pull one track at a time out of the file....

but Ive never tried a dvd...worth looking into

What up Mig? I got the El Gato too. You gotta rip the chapters of the DVD first. If you have a mac you can use mac the ripper. If you have a PC just look for something similar. After you figure that out I'll give you some setting to use for El Gato.

if you're using the elgato, i'll assume you're on a mac. get mac the ripper. rip individual chapters. encode that. problem solved.

Thanks I'll download mac the ripper. Demon can you send me the setting for elgato and how to install them. For some reason when i have elgato opened i can find where to change the settings

You gotta load a video first then you'll see the option.

make sure you get the smc fan control. When you encode it gets the comp hot.

I have a new generation mac book pro (2.4ghz). should i make it 2000kbps?
