Selfmade Effects with ITCH / Handling Tricks

Sometimes in the past dj's bought a vinyl two times, to play also the backside in the same mix.
Well - there are some tricks, to have some "Basic" Effects with Itch - and the external controllers.
Here are mine :
1. I discovered the Flanger in ITCH :
Play the Track on one deck. Activate Auto-BPM on both. While track on deck 1 is playing, add the second one to deck 2. It will sync automatically.
Running at same speed and beat, turn one platter slightly and slow in a range of max 35° forward and backward while having the X-Fader in the middle.
Voilá ! Hello Flanger!
2. Handling Tip:
On VCI 300 there is not enough space for fingers for european men beetween the EQ knob's. Women and Chinese guy's have smaller fingers. Surgery may help me, but I do it on an other way:
Follow up my first trick and preadjust the EQ on one deck - f.e. you kill the bass.
Pull X-Fader over... So yo can use the X-Fader as an EQ as well...
3. Use Cue-Points. This will save time.
4. iTunes - personally for me - iTunes became the unique tool for usagage of itch to manage my tracks - f.e. using intelligent playlists... Windows-Users should check out this features, you will kick your other stuff off the HDD.
Once if you startet with iTunes, you won't miss it anymore. Because sorting in folders on a harddisc is not longer needed.
Playlists for Demos or Livesets I create with the internal database of Itch.
5. Echo - Yes we have one ... but you have to do this on your own. Its a handmade echo.
Knowledge from the "old" handcrafting DJ's:
Put a track into a loop. Pump the fader up and down - everytime you reduce the maximum volume...
That's it - hope that helps you out for first time.

Very bad Idea if Vestax would employ you, Deejay Dumb Bii ....
Your Channel-Fader could never reach 100%. Maximum Percentage depends on the thickness of your fingers ... - so maybe you reach personally only 70% ...

Geez, its just concept designs(to be in the concept design group), of course there would be a group/team that puts all into consideration and another group to test watever that the concept group had come up with and deem it feasible or not! Too bad it won't happen because I never learned Japanese to start with, Arigatou gozaimasu!
