Macbook and VSL - Any Issues?

A few days ago I purchase the Apple Macbook for a couple of good reasons.
Number one, it met the requirements to run VSL.
Number two, it was barely within my budget. To go to the Macbook Pro, I would need to spend nearly another $800.00.
I snatched up the Macbook with the new aluminum body style. 2.0GHz, 2GB DDR3 RAM, and an NVIDIA 9400M video card with 256mb shared video memory.
For those of you running Macbooks and VSL....are you running into issues? Have you had to tweak anything with the computer or software to make it run opitimal?
Thank you.

you really don't need to, it will run fine without tweaking anything. There are tweaking recommendations all over the vsl forum. One I can think of off the to of my head is turning off all the extras that are on...bluetooth, wireless. Brings down the cpu % usage.

agreed.. just make sure your apps are closed and wireless, and bluetooth are disabled... mine runs fine... i can tell a slight difference in the wavforms between using serato and video serato, but its nothing to worry too much about.

Thank you guys...still learning the Mac. So learning how to turn off apps is still on my list to learn.

Hows it working so far Gonzo? Im thinking of going the same route with the new macbook. Are you able to do all the transitions and effects?
