I have a mp3 song and was wondering if I could attach the album art or a jpeg picture to use as a video background. This would be cool to use for songs without video.

yes you can do this. assign the jpg as album art. if you want to attach it as a video file for vsl, create an mp4 from the jpeg.

hi all, is there a way of doing some kind of automatic process to creates videos using the album art?
if i have to do this for all my mp3 one by one.. it might take a long time...

even if i have to pay for a extra software that can automate this process.

thanks

you would have to script extracting the album art than save it as an mp4. you can do this with ffpmeg.

hi all

Skinnyguy, yes like mix emergency, but if i paid years ago the sl3, and videosl i dont want to buy another soft your for the same. :-)
Although i agree they have nice features i would like to see on serato and i hope that they are working on them.

Yes i am on windows 7, 64bits. As i always do when speaking about he OS:
I remind to everybody, i haver never had a major issue. (only with some videos not properly encoded and that was my mistake).
As the oposite of lots of people believe in this forum i can say 100% confident that serato, videosl and serato+video (new version) work great on windows.
No need to swith to mac only for that.

DJ Nyce, i am going to look over for a script on ffmpeg.
I would put the info here when i find it.

Thanks for the heads up.
