Who else thinks that the new mixer looks ugly. I am excited about the features of the mixer...but it sure ain't a looker.

I think its like all rane gear. Solid built like a tank.. and looks like one too.

hey mexicannnnn, you go to utsc??? are there a lot of good scratch djs at the school?
mexicannnnnn 7:44 AM 24 March 2006
No I used to DJ at (www.fusionradio.ca) UTSC but I'm at St. George Campus.

Check our www.hiphopheadz.ca they are the local hip hop reps for St. George.

I think it looks cool. I love the look of the 56. But ofcourse nothing looks sexier than the pio 909. Then again looks are nothing. I actually really like the look of it. No gimmicks all business.

the pre-production pics looked a bit nasty but the latest pics I think look really good.

Just like the rane gear 'look' not big nasty logo's, crazy colours & gimicky features ... although the touch screen on the 909 is a pretty fly...

i can't really see how they could have made it look appreciably better and still kept the features/feature placement intact....

Touch screen would have rocked.

I hope Rane will make custom plates for the 57...

looks fine to me... but then again.. im not a house dj that likes neon colors for my mixers.. ;)
