Searching for a song by its BPM ?

Ali1992 5:44 AM - 23 January, 2014
Hi

Would anyone be able to tell me how i can search for a song by typing in the bpm?

For example typing in "90" so all the songs at 90 bpm show up?

i used to be able to do this no problem with vdj and traktor but cant figure it out on Serato DJ

Any help would be appreciatted!

Thanks!

the search function works so long as the info that you are looking for is in the song title, artist name or album name. the best way to search by BMP is to add the BPM column and sort by ascending or descending the order. also having crates named with a set BPM amount such as "90to94" Good Luck.

Or simply click:
ALL in library
browse tab
90 under bpm

Only 90 bpm tagged song will come up....

I can't remember exactly. But I click the "browse" tab and filter by bpm and genre and select like that when I'm in a jam

What i want to know is if there is a way to search by bpm in ranges i mean say 100 up to 120 rather than just track at 100 or whatever

I think the only way is by using Smart Crates, or by adding comments like "100-120" to search for...

^ what he said smart crates. For example I have a smart crate for only 90-100 Bpm songs.
