Looking at moving to Video-SL

Hey there guys,
I have been using SSL for about 6 months now in the club I use to be a resident at, and I love it. Now I have also been doing mobile gigs with video using Pioneers DVJs and DJM 800. I want to know, how different is the Rane mixer used for Video-SL, compared to let say any of the the DJM series of mixers. I love pioneer, and am vary weary of the move, but I want to get rid of carrying around 3 DVD folders everywhere, and just carry a Macbook Pro.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I made that exact switch and I love it........ have never looked back. The first couple weeks are difficult bc the effects are a lil wierd to get use to but once they click youll love it. I actually sold my djm800 to help buy my new Macbookpro.
(Never did video tho with my pionner set up)

I know more than one person who have made the switch. I know zero who have made the switch the other way.

Hey thanks for the replys...

Well just so happens to be that 1.1 supports the SL-1. I think I might just wait haha, and test the public beta when it becomes available in two weeks.

1.9 and 1.1 look more ready then ever. EXCITED.

Cant wait to get into this SSL and VSL community.
