ok so everything works ok but there is too much bass!

i have the matrix 1000 v2 sound system / djm 800 (poineer)

even wheni turn down the sub and levels on the eq. too much bass?


what did i do wrong?

there gain and frequency knobs on the back of the powered sub, make sure the gains for the satellite speakers are higher than the sub and choose your frequency settings

Drewberto, you are more-than-likely using a line-level input into the phono input of your mixer. Tell us what equipment you are suing (ie. turntables, what kind of mixer, etc) and I can be a little more specific.
