Picture Settings for Handbrake

Hey-

I've downloaded the preset for Video-SL but it doesn't seem to adjust the "picture settings" in Handbrake. Can someone please let me know what settings you have for the picture settings. I'm ripping from a Promo Only DVD and I'll be mostly playing on 46"+ TVs and Projectors. Maybe a screen shot of these settings? Thanks!

I normally don't touch any of the picture settings besides the deinterlace option, which I set to slow.

Besides the deinterlace setting, I change the Average Video bitrate setting of 2000 to 3000

Hey Shaun-

I also change the bitrate and the deinterlace setting but the picture settings don't seem to be setup in the preset.

In other words, when I click on the Video-SL preset in Handbrake, it doesn't seem to effect the picture settings.

Can you please look at your video's info (apple-I) and tell me the dimensions your using. If anyone else reads this as well, would you please list the dimensions of the videos you're using.

Handbrake seems to automatically use the aspect ratio of the DVD you're ripping at the time, when using the Video-SL preset.

Regular 4:3 ratio is 640x480 and wide screen 16:9 is usually around 720x540

What version of HandBrake does everyone currently have? There is a new release that came out on November 23, 2008.
You can now pretty much convert any video format, instead of only opening a dvd or .vob file
