No, you are trying to do something different.

Associating videos to audio files works as described in the manual.

Associating a video to another video file's audio does not work.

Easy, just drag your video file to the SET VIDEO TRACK button below the big circle.

You can also just drag the video into the video screen below the deck playing mp3 and if you like it than you can set that video to that mp3 by pressing set video track. This will link the video to that audio file and will play everytime you play that audio file. If you just to use it for that one time, than don't press anything, just drag the video file into the video screen below the playing deck.

so is there a way to unload it from the video screen if you are just dragging it to the preview window first.

Let's say you are playing a regular music video.
The venue you are playing at wants you to drop their ad or promotion on the screen.
Can you drag that promo video to the preview screen of the video you are CURRENTLY playing live? Let it play for a bit.. then unload it?

or do you have to re-drag the original video playing back to the preview screen to re-enable it?

it would be nice to just have a video sampler built in instead....

Have assigned video drops in like 10 banks and use a shortcut to trigger them.

Have them turn on automatically when an audio track is played.


Virtual DJ has this feature already. It would be PERFECT if Serato made this happen too !!!
