About two months ago I put out a reggae remix/blend/mashup/etc. (whatever they are calling these things nowadays) of Lil' Wayne's "Mrs. Officer." It somehow made its way to a few record pools (break the crates, djcity, etc.) and got me some friendly and not so friendly calls from the labels. Anyways I finally got around to putting together a video for it and thought I would post it.

I am still in my editing infancy so it is what it is. I am just happy the audio and video are in sync.

looks like you rendered a little too much ;)
you probably had your markers stretched out too far.
add a shadow if you want anyone to read your text.
good job.
sounds like i have more video edits of your audio remixes than you.

Hey D...can you explain this a little more? What did you mean about markers stretched to far? I am still learning the whole tagging this will go back to the drawing board and add a shadow to the titles.

Oh...I have no video edits to any of my audio mixes...haha. If you want to share the wealth. Actually I did want to ask you about a few tracks. Hit me on the PM when you got time. Still in Florida??

The audio and video got out of sync too. You can use velocity to increase the video speed. There are tutorial videos on youtube.

The video goes black for a long while and then comes back, like twizzle said your markers might be stretched too far. Towards the end the audio comes back on with the last verse, but no video.

Nice work though.

i think your remix is only 3 minutes long, but the video you posted is like 7 minutes long. in vegas, there's an option that says render loop region only. make sure your markers are within the video you want to export, it looks like there was a lot more added.
just got back from florida. had a gig that finished at 2am, stayed up and had to be at the airport at 4am. had a 2 hour delay in houston at my layover. tired as hell, haha.

Actually this is how the actual video is. If you watch it you see he drifts on and off in the last verse. I may go fix it but not sure how much time I want to spend on it.

I figured out what went wrong here. The actual video is only two verses and then cuts to his other song called comfortable. I pulled in the full audio of the song to do the edit. When I forgot to set the markers you are hearing the leftover audio that didn't get used. There is no 3rd verso to the video though. Kind of sucks they did it that way but oh well.
