Dead Fader, Replacement without sending it in?

My cross fader died, It just did not respond to the position it was in.
I swapped the fader with one of the channel faders and now thecrossfader works fine but of course that channel I swapped the fader is not responsive to fader position. Fortunalty the channel is open so I just use the gain and scratch with the crossfader so is holding together fine.
It would appear that I am 99.999% sure that the fader is just bad. Is there anyway to just get a replacement fader or send the fader in and not the board. DJing 5 nights a week it would be a real problem to be without it.

Rane must calibrate your mixer so it won't be an option, u must return it to them I am sure! but normally they are really really fast so depending on your location you could have it back in anytime.if u send them express they return as express

Rane may well replace the fader under warranty, best thing to do is give one of the support guys a ring.

Yeah I swapped my Channel 1 fader and the crossfader to make it through the night, I had to manage channel 1 with the gain alone. I could tell once I started my main set that the fader was out of wack, one way sensitive and the other had way to much play.
I also never realised how much I actually use my channel faders as well, I thought I just left them full open and mostly used the crossfader.. funny how things are just so routing that you dont realize you do them...anyways.
I bought a SL-1 box before my sl57-ttm and never sold it and have always had it in my emergency box that I keep in the truck along with an older rane 56 mixer, and my old laptop just incase. Looks like I will be calling rane, overnighting the stuff and pulling open that emergency case and grabbing some stuff to hold me over. No video mixing but I can get by that.
