Nik, bow down to the king, you probably have some of his tracks ;)

We recommend Shure 44-7's, they are loud, and they stay in the groove.

Scratch LIVE does have problems when the needles get dirty - more so than when playing normal vinyl. Instead of the normal drop in audio quality, you will have tracking problems which will result in pops and glitches if the needles get too dirty. It's good to clean them often.
Welcome to the forum - the 900 number was one of the first records I ever bought.

It may be obvious, but can't be emphasized enough: rubbish and dust on the needle/records account for most of the problems. You only notice it until you start to get dropouts. On regular vinyl you get warned because the sound turns wack.

900 number is an absolute party classic. i can't think of one party that i went to or djed where i or the other dj didn't play that song or drop the brak over some beats. wow!

The 45 King,

Welcome to the Forum.

I am really curious, how did you hear about Scratch LIVE?

Did Jazzy Jeff give you the heads up? I know he has been using Scratch LIVE quite a bit and loving it.

By the way, if you need anything please don't hesitate to call 425-551-1834

Peace
DJ Dynamight 6:35 PM - 12 October, 2004

Those decks can run on batteries too, which definately opens the door for a new type of street performer eh? So keep an eye out when walking down the street and remember to support your local DJs. :)

Whats up , I remember when Scoop told me a while ago when Hard knock came out that you did that track and Damon wanted that track bad!!
dj precise 5:34 PM - 13 October, 2004
I did not get ssl yet but can someone tell me when I get ssl and when I download my music , will or can the ssl put the music in order by bpm or is that something I have to do.
nik39 5:38 PM - 13 October, 2004
Right now, you have to use an external app which will count your bpm and add that info to each track. Inside SSL you can sort by bpm, artist, trackname, lenght, adddate, style etc.
nik39 5:40 PM - 13 October, 2004
For the future SSL shall have a built in bpm detection, or you tap the bpms.
