Scratch Forum is SLOW and Should be Updated

There are so many free forum solutions out there that are so much superior to whatever Scratch is currently using. Every time I go to search for something it takes a long long time. The interface on this particular forum is also poorly designed. Rane should higher someone to redo these forums imo. They are painful from a customer stand point.

PS I am seeing others who are saying the same thing. As for free/cheap software which is run all around the world I was thinking about www.vbulletin.com. That is one of many many out there but vbulletin has been in the business for awhile and highly endorsed. The license is really cheap I think like 175 or something.

Bottom line the forums need help...

Dj_Danny, which site are you using the forums on? serato.com or scratchlive.net?

We will not adopt any third party forum software. We believe that our own forum solution is superior to other solutions.

Are there any specific parts of the forum you are not happy with? I see you mention the speed of the search - this is something we are aware of and working on. Is there anything else?
