Has anyone found a black 9v power supply

djnicknice 5:12 AM - 6 February, 2006
Might sound anal, but I hate the way the white radio shack power supply looks. I am looking for a black version. Does anyone know the dimensions of the supply tip? I think there's several important measurements - o.d. (outside diameter) and i.d. (inside diameter). I think the n-plug from radio shack is O.D.: 5.5mm. I.D.: 2.5mm

What do you think about this one?

It doesn't list the inside diameter of the plug, but the outside dimension is 5.5mm like the Radio Shack n-plug. Are there any other important requirements I need to know?

i have a 9 volt supply, but its for my FS2. i refuse to use it on my SSL in fear that they may conflict, and the FS2 power supply may sabatoge my SSL box out of jealousy.

Try this: www.walmart.com

Not that one actually, but model #0900-33 which is a 1300mA version that is a bit smaller & considerably lighter for $16.

FYI, the Walmart one has a right-angle plug.
