I hate hunching over my macbook and trying to hit that tiny tab to change to another effect, it's so resource consuming (DJ's attention consuming). I stick mainly to radio edit's - I dont have the time.

I find this part of the 57's interface to be the LEAST ergonomic.

Wouldn't it be cool if you could scroll FX like crates or something as easy?

Yes. People have been asking for this feature for a long time. Has not been added yet. :(

thanks for replying nik, I tried searching but found nothing and without your response I would have thought I was alone on this.

hopefully they'll come through with something.

got any links to other threads about this?

i cant believe how the fx are set up, and i think the fact that it hasnt yet been addressed is worse..... i was checkin out a friend w/ a pioneer djm 400.... and was envious of how easy the effects are ...... but he wasnt even using serato, so.......i wasnt that envious.....

It is a pain... and for that reason, I've been using the same echo for months...

I route it thru the FlexFX buttons so I can turn it on and off, but then i cant use the mic or the aux in; nik is there a way around that?

i got the mixer about 2 weeks ago and it is a deffinate pain in the ass. i mean WTF? I paid over $1200 for the mixer they could of atleast added the ease of effects like on my old DJM600!

im really hoping that somehow the fx group will magically become the ableton group, and all will be blissfull...... and f"n CRAZY!!!!
