USB Buffer setting on leopard VS os X

Okey, i currently have mac os X with the ttm 57 but cant run it at the lowest buffer setting, if i upgrade to leopard would I be able to do it?

All Macs are limited to a buffer setting of 2 (i.e. one notch to the right of the first).
