I've been djing since I was 8 years old.
I heard a mixed record called "Magic Mezclas" at my dad's recording studio in 1985 and was intrigued. I wondered how one song ended and the other one started without stoping or me even noticing. One of the DJ's that worked there who happened to be a show off offered to show me how it was done. In a matter of 2 weeks I picked it up and within a month I was really good. It became a sickness to me. I no longer wanted to play or do anything else. All I wanted to do was mix. Everywhere I went or anything I did I was thinking of what song could be mixed with what and what effects could be added a la "Mas Mix"...
Soon I was mixing all genres, eurodance, Italo disco, freestyle, disco, high nrg, pop, new wave, salsa, merengue, even ballads. At age 10 I started working at my dad's studio as one of the disc jockeys mixing all genres and making compilations. Fast forward to the present time. It is still a very important part of my life.
