Hi Worthh3g,

can you post the crash report here?
DJMartin 7:47 AM - 7 May, 2013
Please make sure you installed the correct software from here: serato.com
and you are not running Serato Scratch Live or ITCH.

the serato dj program will open and in the top right corner in orange it will say no compatible dj device connected and then a window pops up that says serato dj has stoped working nad then it closes the program. ive double checked the software, ive uninstalled and re installed it checked all my cable hook ups and everythings good.

Hi Worthh3g,

I was having the same problems with 1.2 after updating from 1.1.2
Try the following:

re-install the SDJ 1.2

Download the latest driver and firmware for the DDJ SX: pioneerdj.com

Update your firmware as described here: www.pioneerelectronics.com

I got SDJ 1.2 working, but at some functions it is still crashing, this is why I still use 1.1.2 and installed it in a seperate folder. The previous version is still working stable on my laptop. I´m now working on it to get 1.2 stable since a week now.

Cheers!

can you post the crash report here? When the popup window appears click on details and post the text which will be visible then.

How big is your library?

What are the specs of your PC?
DJMartin 5:13 PM - 7 May, 2013
Do you have any other USB devices connected?

I saw this post here first and the specs are here Win7 32bit, in the other post it's indeed Win Vista. Quite confusing...

Hi Worthh3g,

with w7 you are definately on the right side and SDJ should work fine.
