Now we all know Scratch Live / Serato has a whole heap of issues depending on what version you use, what laptop you use, and what hardware you use..

However, doesn't Rane just generally offer an unusually stable product?
What could there really be to complain about?
Yeah I know about the BUTTON ISSUES, but is there really anything to complain about from a hardware perspective?
Or will they be offering so much NEW hardware that you'd need a forum to keep track and discuss the new possibilities?
OR is this a political move on Rane's part...
Since Serato DJ is now in da bed with Pioneer?
Is there a separation of powers about to go down?

If you look at the way the forums set up its similar to the serato forum in that there are areas for hardware discussion but there are also areas for general DJ discussion, off topic, even areas to discuss aspects of djing from the viewpoints of different skill levels (tips and tricks, pogramming ect). Honestly, I see it as a great thing, it adds diversity to the community and also gives us a chance to grow a new perspective other than the bleak and bitter outlook over here lol.
I also see it as a great alternative in the likley case that serato starts to adopt more traktor like policys and begins cracking down on their forums ala the NI forums.....im sure they def dont want all their new wavys getting buthurt. Dont forget the platforms are merging so all of the old itch type users will soon be added to the conversation.... :/
