Having three tracks loaded up on Decks 1, 2 and 3, Deck 3 in scratch mode the others in Jog mode. When flicking from deck 3 back to 1if I touch the left Jog wheel the track playing on deck 1 will jump forward a beat or two. This was also an old Itch problem which was solved in one of the later Itch updates. Please do the same for DJ.

Hey Sand,

Thanks for getting in touch,

I have tried to reproduce the issue here but I dont seem to get the same result as you?
-- If I leave my hand on Deck 3s platter and then switch the layer to Deck 1 The beats will stay in time, but if I move the platter it will slightly move the grid lines apart.
-- Which is normal.

I would suggest you remove your hand from the platter before you switch between Deck 3 and 1.

If its still causing issues and its just not functioning as it should, are you able to upload a short video of you going through the steps to recreate this?

Thanks :)

My hand is not on the platter when I switch decks. I switch decks then touch the deck in jog mode which then jumps off beat. When I get time I will attach a mpeg file to prove what I mean. I have looked though various forums and I'm not the only one with this issue, And yes I calibrate every time before I use my NS6 before you ask.

Hey Sand,

Thanks for that information. I understand the issue you are experiencing.

A video demonstrating the issue would be great, I appreciate you taking the time to make one :)

In the meantime can you get back to me with the following information?, I will look into how you have things setup and your specs.

1. Can you send me your full Mac specs?
-- Click the APPLE > ABOUT THIS MAC > MORE INFO
-- Copy / Paste this information back here.

2. Are you using any external hard drives to organise your music?
-- How big is the drive?
-- How much free space is on it?

3. Are you using any other USB devices?
-- Any wireless mouses / keyboards?

Thanks.

Here is the video of the uncommanded beat jump I must admit it's not up to Steven Spielberg's standard but it's quite hard to hold a phone while filming and recreate the fault.

Hope this helps.

Hey Sand,

Thanks for the video, its been very helpful!

I now totally understand the issue you are experiencing.
I have managed to re-create the same issue here.

I have logged this issue as a bug, we hope to have it resolved in a future update.
Thats all the information I have on this at the moment.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, we really appreciate it :)

Is there anything else I can help you with?
Sand 2:36 PM - 17 May, 2013
Yes please, When I have the FX in multi FX mode I can toggle FX 1 and 2 on and off using FX A or B switch or Shift + FX A or B on the NS6, is there any way of toggling FX 3 on and off using the NS6 only?

Hey Sand,

I have attached the NS6 Quick Start Guide for Serato DJ 1.2

Unfortunately its not possible to turn FX paramater 3 on/off using your controller.
-- You will need to use another generic midi controller and midi map this on/off button to that.

If you have any other questions please feel free to ask :)

If all is ok for now I will close this thread, please let me know.

Thanks.
