I am currently a SERATO ITCH user and I don't have a unit SSL yet but I am intrigue of getting one myself.
Is there an option where I can control the TEMPO inside the software using a controller rather than control the TEMPO on the TTs?

Hey 2.Um,
You can control the tempo using a MIDI controller if you want.
You will still need a dj mixer though as there are no all-in-one controllers for Scratch Live.

Any kind of MIDI controller will do? Just map the control with the software?

Yes:) I would figure out everything you are wanting to control in SSL and buy a controller with the buttons, knobs, and sliders you need.

Do you have any suggestions on what kind of a MIDI controller I would purchase?

I personally like Akai controllers.
They have quit a few models. As I said, figure out what you want to control in the software and buy the controller that has the knobs, buttons, and sliders you'll need.
