Does anyone know how to create a lop using Serato..similar to how one would cteate a loop on a CD1000....

Yeah, 1.5 beta has a loop feature, but you should wait until the final version is released before you use it public.

You can use your CDJ1000 to create a loop and Serato will work. I use other various CD players and I'm able to do it
