Hey guys,

Still trying to get some use out of my Xone DX...

Does anyone know if there's a way to get the LED lights to work when the Xone DX is mapped to Ableton Live? Is there a script of some kind? I know there's one for Traktor...

Also, is there a way to edit the midi messages the Xone DX sends to Ableton?

The issue I'm having here is because the layer button on the DX actually selects a different midi channel, only one channel is able to utilize the loop functionality in Ableton Live. That is, loop [in/out/on/off] only works on one channel, since you can't assign multiple midi messages to the same function in Ableton.

As you could imagine, things get pretty hairy when I'm trying to cue up multiple channels or tracks, and always having to go back to channel one to access loop information.

Thanks in advance!

PS. Some good news about the DX and Serato Scratch Live.

If you happen to have a SCRATCH LIVE interface, the DX, and other Sound Card/Midi Controllers actually make pretty good ad-ons for THE BRIDGE. The reason being is that with the additional sound card the DX brings, I'm able to route multiple outputs from ABLETON LIVE into my DJ mixer. This gives me the option of having a cue mix in addition to a master out. Something the SCRATCH LIVE interface can't do on its own (even though the SL3 and above have enough outputs, the functionality is not implemented).
