Good morning,

I know I'm being extra cautious, but will a Macbook Pro without Retina, model MD101LL be ok for Scratch Live 3?

It's a lot of money and I had trouble before with a PC (Dell Vostro 3450) even after checking the specs here. I hope I'm doing the right thing this time! Please confirm!

Yes, that model will be more than adequate.

If I may add, I intent to buy a controller and use ITCH sometimes, will it be suitable as well?
Konix 6:31 PM - 16 December, 2012
Of course. Basically, any Mac made after 2006 (when they switched to Intel processors) should be more than fine to run Scratch Live, Itch (now Serato DJ), Traktor, etc. The specific model you listed is the latest 13", non-retina, model. So it will be more than fine to run any program today.

Many many thanks!

Sorry for asking about the same thing over and over, it's just a matter of longevity and, as I said, past experiences.

I wish I could afford i7, then I would be settled for a few years I guess..

Hi Rafael, thanks for your response. If I recall, you helped me a few times with the Dell.

I'm really confident I did the right choice this time.
