since the DDJ SX was modeled after CDJ's it would be nice to have the plus or minus 10% as a pitch range. got really use to it on the CDJ's and also the DDJ S1 controller.

+1 for +/- 10%. There are some tracks that I'll play at +9% or +10% and it would be nice to have a 10% pitch range option so that I have a little more wiggle room and still have more precise pitch fader control than what 16% allows.

Would love to have +/- 10%. I just got the DDJ SX after 10 yeas of using CDJ MK2's, +/-10% would make the transition seamless.

After I bought Novation Twitch, I understood how idiotic it is to use fader like pitch control. Especially on four channel controllers this old school system is pretty much next to dead weigth. Rotating knob (with steps) is more accurate, faster and it has no range limit.

Hmmmm, I didn't know a rotating knob for pitch existed but it makes sense, especially the fact that it has no range limit and you wouldn't have to mess with resetting the pitch slider. Maybe we'll see more knobs on future units.

Guess i'm an old school fader guy. +/- 8% is good but how hard is it to add a little +/- 10 in there too. I already have the SX so...

I know when you are using smart sync if you put it at +8% and want to go further you just hold down shift and move the slider back to zero, let go of shift and continue increasing the pitch. I'm not sure if this works when not using smart sync, I haven't tried it, but you'd think it would.

It does. All the range you could ever need, with all the accuracy of +/-8%.
Lovely!

I feel a 10% pitch range is the sweet spot for most of the music I play.

I stand corrected. The Shift+Slider correction only works when sync is activated. Doesn't work in normal mode.
I smell a feature suggestion!!

I'm seriously crossing my finger that Serato adds the -/+10% function to the DDJ SX. This would be a huge improvement in functionality and performance.
IMO> Many DJs including myself perform live transitions from 128 to 90 and so on. Some tracks are meant to be at a sweet-spot pitch and then when mixing in some tracks its a bit of a challenge to flip through the Pitch Rage to the tracks where you want it when in the mix and bringing it out of the mix.
Not to compare apples to oranges but I was helping a buddy setup Virtual DJ 7.3 and noticed in the SETUP/CONFIG screen that even -/+10% Pitch is an option. Ever DJ program out there is meant for a certain DJs style or need. I've been a Serato/RANE DJ since the software has came out and believe it suits my needs. I've gone through SL1, SL3, DDJS1, TTM57, Denon HC1000s but have found that I'm in luv with the DDJSX. This has been the best investment I've ever made.
Only missing the -/+10% feature at this point. Thank you Serato, lets see what you got for the next Serato DJ Release; make it phat!!!!

And why not even add 100% to perform a full stop with the pitch?
So, we would be able to choose between:
8%, 10%, 16%, 50%, 100%
