Just noticed that the loop roll is always in slip mode regardless if slip is on or off. Not sure if this is the way its designed to work or not but I find big roll build ups about useless in slip mode.

Not following you... It is supposed to be ALWAYS in slip mode... If it wasn't, it would just be a normal loop...

Thats fine, lets say you wanted to make a build up 8 bars before bar 59 dropped for example. The you wanted to shuffle the roll around until your done and then drop. You can't do it cause its ALWAYS in Slip mode.
You can kind of do this with a normal loop but then you are restricted to halving or doubling the loop in set increments in either direction. Not the same effect!
It should work like the slicer where you can can grab a set measure and lock into measure until your done. Slip and Locked.
The other thing I will add, since the Loop Shift and the 1/2X and 2X are the same buttons. makes it a little awkward to 1/2 the shift forward to build a progressively building loop roll up. So far the only thing I see the roll function being good for is glitching and small but very brief rolls.

Hi Lightning
I agree with phatbob (thanks :) that the slicer roll (activated by hitting slicer twice) is your best bet for achieving what you are describing.
Cheers
