I don't know if this is bug or not, but I would like to have the ability to do loop rolls over an activated loop, without disengaging the loop automatically.

+1 I think we went through the same thing on SSL when looprolls were first introduced. Iirc.

+1 I love the new roll feature but having it automatically jump out of a loop when disengaged severely limits its capabilities.

+1 This has been a feature request for many years in SL but it's been ignored.
I just hope it makes it's way over soon.
Being able to roll in a loop would be like a slicer. For the controllers that don't have the slicer function, this would be a pretty good alternative for them and will cushion the blow a bit regarding not getting a MIDI mapable slicer.

Yes, I thought this was a bug when I did a loop roll inside a loop.
This really sucks and needs to be addressed.

This is an old issue and still has not been addresses in the newest version.
Hope we can see this in the next update

Surprised this has not had a solution yet in almost 2 years.
Most of the time I use the loop roll I am in a loop, have to use instant doubles and switch decks to keep the outer loop going. This is a pain.
Should be able to have a fix for this, or nested loops ability.

The slicer doesn't fix this as you may want to be in a different size loop and still use the loop roll.
Should be able to be in any loop you create, then use loop roll and still be in loop until you press the Loop off button

+1,
I have only just got the software and it really threw me at first. Also the fact that it changes the auto loop value I don't find helpful. Surely the roll loop should be like a flash operation and when you release the pad the loop value goes back to what you had set as your auto loop to prior to the roll. Even now after performing a roll loop I will go to auto loop in another track and forget that I had altered the value.
