I'm trying to start a record from the beginning but now the tonearm just swings to the middle and starts playing. Just happened tonight.

I've had a pair for 8 years and Still use one of the original carts and stylii for time code with no problems!
Granted I don't scratch but it still tracks great and no noticeable record wear
