I have seen 10.5.8 listed here serato.com but this page serato.com says 10.6.8.
I just wanted to be sure the 10.6.8 requirement is a typo before I open a help ticket. Serato mods, please confirm. Thanks.

Considering the 1st gen Core Duo machines are the only Macs which can't run Snow Leopard, if that's what you're running it's time for an upgrade anyway.

Why not download the program and try it in demo mode for yourself in the meantime?

My issue (missing output window) was resolved by the renaming/deleting plist solution in the FAQ. I thought it may have been related to being on an unsupported OS because of the conflicting information posted by Serato.
I am running OSX 10.5.8 on my early 2009 unibody mbp, which has worked flawlessly with Video-SL for a very long time. 10.5.8 seems to be ok for Serato Video as well. If I have to upgrade to Snow, I'm sure I will, but since my mpb is only used for DJing, I will wait until Serato officially no longer supports Leopard.
Thanks to everyone for their contributions. I really wish Serato would chime in and give the "official" response to which minimum OSX version is correct as well as fix the typo in one place or the other.
